Widush Mishra, a seasoned digital media professional with over a decade of experience, has joined Hook, a digital-first brand under the RPSG Group, as Head of Social Media Strategy & Monetization. In his new role, Widush will be spearheading growth and revenue strategies across Hook, MensXP, and iDiva.
Widush brings with him a strong track record of helping media organizations achieve leadership in the digital space through sharp, data-driven social media strategies. His expertise spans content planning, audience engagement, and digital monetization, making him a rare combination of creative and commercial acumen.
He began his career in 2014 as a Sub Editor at Dainik Bhaskar, later moving to Rajasthan Patrika. In 2017, he joined Network18 as a Social Media Manager, where he contributed to the digital growth of key platforms.
In 2019, he moved on to hold senior roles at Asiaville, TV9, and Asianet News Network, where he led social media growth and revenue strategies across multiple languages, significantly expanding digital reach and engagement.
In 2023, Widush rejoined Network18 as Cluster Lead (English), where he oversaw the digital strategy for several of the network’s leading brands.
Known for his sharp understanding of digital trends and audience behavior, Widush has consistently elevated the digital presence of the platforms he has worked with. His strategic thinking has contributed to notable gains in platform performance, audience expansion, and revenue growth.
