Experience Required: 5–7 years in a digital or newsroom environment

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of sub-editors and ensure content meets the highest editorial standards
- Handle breaking news stories with accuracy, speed, and sound editorial judgment
- Collaborate closely with reporters and editors to uphold publishing quality and consistency
- Edit and rewrite stories for clarity, grammar, SEO optimization, and reader engagement

- Proven experience in a fast-paced newsroom, with the ability to manage shifts and deadlines effectively
- Strong news judgment and a commitment to editorial integrity
- Proficiency with digital publishing tools and newsroom workflows

- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends when required
