The globe is mourning the death of Dayle Haddon, the supermodel, actress, and humanitarian whose empathy and kindness have touched the hearts of millions. At 76 years old, Haddon died due to an accident at her family’s property in Solebury Township, Pennsylvania.
Agencies announced that Haddon’s death was due to a carbon monoxide release from carbon monoxide leak associated with an improper flue and exhaust pipe in the gas heating system. The Solebury Township Police Department described the event as a sobering illustration of the potential menace that can hide in our homes.
A Devastating Loss
Police went to the residence on Friday morning the result of a 911 emergency. An unresponsive 76-year-old male (who was later disclosed to be Walter J. Blucas, father in law of Haddon’s daughter Ryan Haddon) was found in the ground floor of an attached-in law suite. He was immediately transferred to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in critical condition.
Dayle Haddon was found unresponsive in a second-floor bedroom. Upon arrival at the scene emergency personnel observed high levels of toxic carbon monoxide and some of the medical personnel required treatment for carbon monoxide exposure.
