apna.co empowered Indian youth to dream big with Silicon Valley Immersion Campaign

In a groundbreaking campaign that transcends boundaries and empowers the dreams of India’s youth, apna.co – India’s leading jobs and professional networking platform, in partnership with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), announced the conclusion of the Silicon Valley Immersion Campaign (SVIC). Launched during the fervor and excitement of the ICC T20 World Cup, the campaign offered a transformative journey for Indian youth, providing them with the unique opportunity to engage with global tech giants and unlock pathways to international success. This campaign exemplifies the belief that when equipped with the right opportunities, Indian talent can conquer the world.

The digital film starts with a group of friends engrossed in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, lamenting the lack of options to visit the US to experience the excitement firsthand. Just then, apna enters the scene, unveiling the true ‘Career World Cup’ trophy—the Silicon Valley Immersion Program, showcasing not only a chance to visit Silicon Valley, but to win cash prizes and gain life-changing experiences.  In line with apna’s belief that dreams have no limitations, the campaign redefines the path to the U.S., creating a more meaningful way for young Indians to reach their dreams—not just as spectators, but as future innovators and leaders.

SVIC, aimed at nurturing creativity and problem-solving skills, culminated with Teena Chhatria, Aradhya Pitlawar, Kabir Arora, and Chaitanya Sai Krishna as its distinguished winners. These talented individuals, hailing from institutions such as XLRI Jamshedpur, WCE Sangli, and PEC Chandigarh, earned a fully funded trip to Silicon Valley in the US. This extraordinary opportunity includes exclusive interactions with leaders from global tech giants like Google, Apple and Meta. The winners will gain insights into how these companies have emerged as world-leading tech conglomerates.

The campaign, which ran for 4 months, received an overwhelming 25,000 registrations from 6,000 colleges across India, with notable 40% female participation, highlighting the campaign’s  commitment to diversity and inclusion. Any Indian aged 18 and above with at least a graduation degree (or actively pursuing one) was applicable for the program. The campaign generated 20 million reach through a multi-channel distribution strategy, including Social Media, AICTE registered Colleges, Training centres, SMS & Whatsapp campaign. Building on this success, apna will host more such campaigns to continue fostering innovation and opportunity.

The grand finale concluded at the AICTE HQ in New Delhi, determining the top two teams who won cash prizes worth 4 lacs and a fully funded trip to Silicon Valley, USA.
