2026 Kia Seltos India Launch Preview: Rugged Look with New Alloy Wheels

The next-generation Kia Seltos has been spotted again on Indian roads, this time in Hyderabad, thanks to images shared by a Reddit user. These spy shots reveal notable updates, including a fresh alloy wheel design and several exterior changes. Highlights include matte black geometric-patterned wheels, dual-tone outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), a more angular overall shape, and redesigned LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The new Kia Seltos is expected to launch in India either during the upcoming festive season or early in 2026.

New Kia Seltos: Exterior Design

The upcoming Kia Seltos boasts a tougher, more rugged look, featuring a boxier silhouette, a flat hood, and a more upright stance that enhances its SUV appeal. Among the exterior updates, the new matte black geometric alloy wheels stand out as a bold design element. This rugged aesthetic is further accentuated by dual-tone ORVMs, blacked-out pillars, roof rails, and pronounced wheel-arch cladding. The front fascia is likely to receive a makeover with a reworked grille and vertically extended LED DRLs integrated into the fog lamp area, giving the SUV a sharper, more contemporary presence.

New Kia Seltos: Interior and Technology Upgrades

While interior spy photos remain scarce, earlier leaks suggest a major revamp inside the cabin. The new Seltos is rumored to feature the Trinity panoramic display borrowed from the Kia Seltos Syros variant, which includes two 12.3-inch screens and a 5-inch climate control touchscreen. The dashboard layout is expected to be refreshed, with upgraded materials to offer a more premium feel.

Launch Timeline and Expectations

Multiple sources indicate the new Kia Seltos could debut around November 2025, with sales potentially extending into early 2026. Prospective buyers can look forward to more than just updated styling, as significant improvements in cabin comfort and tech features are also anticipated.
